Thirsty Thursday

Sorry I didn't type on Thursday. I'm typing today though!

Today for Thirsty Thursday, I will talk about what is new in my life. I own about 13 chickens, and three of the hens started brooding at the beginning of May. Adrian, Star, and Halley. Halley had two of her chicks hatch the other day! This is the first time one of our chickens had her own chicks. It's really amazing. A little yellow peeper that me and my brother named Spud, and a black yellow chested peeper that my brother named Steve. They are so cute.

The sun is so bright like your smile. The bird song is beautiful and full of peace like you. Your lips are soft. Your hands are giving. Your soul is warmer than a b. Thank you for your kindness. I must be on my way, thank you for my delightful stay. I hope we may meet again, where I may help you warm your gentle soul and give you rest when no one else is near.

What is Love?

There is no right answer to the question of love

It can be someone's faith to our lord and savior above

Religion is one answer when family is another

It can be that care and support you get from your sister or brother

It's that worry and guidance you get from your mom and dad

Even through rough times when they scream and get really mad

You might get into trouble or get on their last nerve

But bringing the life of a child is the greatest purpose you can serve

It can be the kindness of a friend willing to lend a hand

Those people you do shots with or play with in the sand

Though the love of a friend always reigns true

The love of a partner is one that has a strong effect on you

It's that kiss goodnight and warmth of their hand

That smile on their face that can bring happiness across the land

But there are many other answers such as love for the ocean and sea

A love for the world down to every blade of grass and tree

All I'm trying to say is that love is universal

It's one feeling that, in fact, needs no rehearsal

It can be expressed many places, many ways

But love is a feeling you get that forever stays
