Advice Tuesday

Hey! I know it's been a while. But guess what! It's Tuesday! Advice Tuesday :)

Today, I'm speaking strait from the heart. I've had a hard day with myself. I have been wanting to change myself, to be come more active, to be more bold, to be more positive, but I'm not motivated. I know what it's like to not want to do anything good for yourself. Your flesh says "You can do it later." When is later? You're just lying to yourself! Why spend more time being who you don't want to be when you can work on making yourself better now and enjoy the new you longer?

My Advice for the week is don't wait for the day you think is coming when you magically become the person you want to become. Become that person, weather all you do is take a five minuet walk once in a while, smile at a stranger, or do some extra chores to help out. Just don't keep waiting. You were born to live. Not wait.

HUGE Catch Up!!!!!!

OMG!!! It's been so long!!! I'm sooo sorry :(
A lot has happened. I had summer camp, went and stayed a week up with my grandparents, bought a bunch of R5 music, built a band called M&A (it's a working progress), it sounded like more stuff in my head. Anyway.....I'm hooked on R5!!!! They rock!!!!! Love them!!!!! Their new album "Sometime Last Night" is the bomb! I have never heard anything better. They are such amazing people.

Advice Tuesday

Today's advice is about being who you are and not forgetting.

Do you love who you are as a person, or do you love who you are pretending to be? Every person is meant to be them selves. If your not yourself, then why bother being with people who only like you for you are pretending to be? (Did that even make sense?) To make this simple, be and love who YOU are. If your friends don't love you for you, than don't waste your time with them. They obviously aren't worth it, and they aren't the ones that are going to stay by your side forever. It'd important to be who you were intended to be. There is a reason for it.

My advice for the week would be; Be and love who you really are inside. Let other people see the real you. You can only find a true friend if you are truly yourself.

Thirsty Thursday

Today is Thirsty Thursday!

So remember our chicken Halley that had two chicks hatch? Well.........................................................NO SHE HAS 3 CHICKS!!!! Another one hatched last night!! It's yellow and I'm naming it Sunny. Now we have (in order from oldest to youngest) Spud, Steve, and Sunny. I just realized that they all start with S. That's how I should name them all! All of them have to start with S! Brilliant! lol jk

Another thing that I think is pretty cool is that I wrote a second song! This song with be awesome once I tweak some miner errors and put chords to it. It will be totally awesome! I got the tune and the lyrics down. My goal is to be a song writer (sometimes) and a singer (mostly singer). When I get the song so it's perfect I will post a recording of it.....................maybe.

ANOTHER awesome thing is that I'm going to a friend's birthday slumber party this Friday. I'm taking my bff and then my bff's mom is going to take me and my bff to a fun thing on Saturday. I get to stay and help clean up after the party a little bit and then after that I get to see her new rabbits! She has been planning on getting rabbits for like 3 years. She finally got them this year!!! She is trying to breed them so she can sell the babies for meet (that sounded evil but it's not anywhere as bad as how I just explained it lol)

Wealthy Wednesday

Today is....you guessed it....Wealthy Wednesday! Here are five things that I am thankful for this week.

#5 Animals. I love my animals. I have two kittens, a dog, and about 13 chickens.

#4 Sun. I love the sun. It has been raining a lot this week but it's sunny out today and I love it!

#3 Music. I couldn't live without music. Music is what I listen to to get me excited for the day. It's what I listen to to wake myself up every morning. Listening to music is what makes me happy (Cause I'm happy. Clap along if you know that happiness is the truth. Cause I'm happy. Cap along if you know what happiness is to you.)

#2 Food. I love food. I couldn't live without food either. I am trying to stop eating so much but it's so hard when your hungry and your sister comes up to you eating a kiwi. ( I guess I could just have a kiwi.......)

#1 This blog. I love having this blog because I like being able to tell people about my life. I tell my family and friends but it's different talking on a blog. Every person I know brings out a different personalty trait in me. When I'm by myself typing in my blog, I can just be me. I love it.

Thank you so much for reading and I hope that you think about what you are grateful for today and everyday. Being thankful isn't just for Thanksgiving.

Advice Tuesday

I'm not late today!

Today on Advice Tuesday, I will give out work advice.

As you know, I play basketball, and love it. I think that some good tips of advise for playing a good and fun game would be:

1. All it is a game, it's meant to be enjoyed, so don't get frustrated when something doesn't go your way. I have played with people who freak out when things aren't going according to plan. It's not fun to be around someone like that.

2. Play fair and follow the rules. If you don't play fair, a ref most likely caught you and your team with suffer the consequences.

3. Talk to your coach. If you have any questions about the game plan, or having an issue with a team mate, talk to your coach and explain.

4. Get to know your team. This one is a big one. The better you know your team, the better you guys can all play. After a while of playing with them, you will get to understand how they think when they are playing.

 My friend also had some good work advice. They said, 

"I used to play basketball, and soccer, and I still do swimming, so I would say that you have to be determined, very enthusiastic about learning something, and doing it right. And, though I love baseball, I have never played it, but it applies to that as well. You need to be able to be flexible, and work hard."

I think that playing your hardest should be done without even thinking about it. If you really want something, you can't just spend forever waiting for it, you have to work to get it. Things don't just happen when ever we want them too, or when we snap our figures. We are only human.

Movie Monday

I just finished watching one of my favorite shows, Haven. I loved it. My favorite was Duke Crocker.

This is the run down of it:

Funny Friday

Again, sorry I'm late on the posting. Better late then never though.

Today for Funny Friday......

Me and my friend were in Hannaford sometime close to Valentines day and we saw this. It's so true.

Thirsty Thursday

Sorry I didn't type on Thursday. I'm typing today though!

Today for Thirsty Thursday, I will talk about what is new in my life. I own about 13 chickens, and three of the hens started brooding at the beginning of May. Adrian, Star, and Halley. Halley had two of her chicks hatch the other day! This is the first time one of our chickens had her own chicks. It's really amazing. A little yellow peeper that me and my brother named Spud, and a black yellow chested peeper that my brother named Steve. They are so cute.

There you go. That wasn't very descriptive but it works lol.

I have another thing that I appreciate this week. Singing. I heard the band R5 play on the radio the other day and I loved their song. Apparently one of the band members, Riker, was on dancing with the stars because he was on the news. His little brother Ross left them a video message of him congratulating them but I recognized Ross from Austin and Ally, turns out he plays in Teen Beach and Austin and Ally, and he has a sibling band. Anyway, I was listening to there song on the radio and I thought "It would be really cool to be a singer." So I wrote a rough draft song. I'm not gonna post it on here though. You will have to wait and hear it when I publish it in an album ;)

Advice Tuesday

Hello again! This is the first day of my schedule. The title of today is..... ADVICE TUESDAY!!!

This is the day that I give advise. Now I'm new to this so don't get frustrated with me please.

Today's Advise is bout...... RELATIONSHIPS

Every person you know, you have a relationship with. Some may be family, some may be friends, some may be simple acquaintances, some may even be crushes. Truth is for everyone of those people, you have a relationship with. Today I am only focusing on friendship. Friendship is the key part to ANY relationship. For there to be anything more, there must be friendship and trust. No friendships are perfect. You and your best friend may argue and no longer wish to be friends because you both disagree on something. Let me ask you, was what ever it was that you fought over REALLY worth loosing your best friend for? My bff and I will be celebrating our 4 year Friendship-Anniversary on June 21st of 2015. We wouldn't have made it this far if we didn't overcome the obstacles that were in our way. We had our Silent Times once and a while where we would be misunderstanding each other or disagreeing on a certain thing. Once we couldn't take it any more, we would talk about it and understand what was going on in the other's mind. We have high hopes for our future together as best friends, but I know that if we want to stay best friends, we need to help each other through the obstacles on the friendship road.

My advice for the week:
If you and your friend have a disagreement or misunderstanding, talk to each other and clear it up. Is it really worth loosing a friend over?

What Happened During February 16th-21th

2/16/15 Monday
Today, I went to a friend's house and spent the night. It was Fun.

2/17/15
Today my friend from the sleep over took me to a sledding thing where I met up with my mom and she took me a different friend from basketball home. I call her Quiche and she calls me Fish. Her mom came to pick her up at like 8:40 and got stuck on our drive way.

2/18/15
Today I went ice skating with a friend. It was fun.

2/19/15
Today I went to a friends house and spent the night.

2/20/15
Today that friend and I baby sat my siblings and then she spent the night at my house.

2/21/15
That friend helped me baby sit my siblings again and then she went home.  It was awesome!

Weather Forcast & Week Plans

So....the weather man said that on February 15th, we were gonna have a major blizzard with 2 feet of snow. The night of February 14th, we had a lot of wind and about 3 inches of snow landed on the ground. That's all we got.......nothing. Some blizzard that turned out to be lol. On February 16th, I'm going to a friends house to spend the night. I can't wait because I'm going to get to meet someone (maybe). By "someone" I mean a friend of their family that I have been meaning to meet but our paths never crossed. Hopefully I will meet that person on Feb. 16th. On February 17th, me and my friend are going to go sledding with a group of people from LIGHTS (you remember LIGHTS, my home school group on Monday). I hope that all goes well. Also, on that same day, my friend out in Nevada that went to visit my other friend is coming back. I'm looking forward to seeing him again. I hope he can tell me about his trip with his family. I have to go. Even though this is February vacation, I need to catch up on some school. Bye!

Missing the Sun :(

I don't know about you, but where I live, we are being hammered with snow. We have about 20" of snow and it's still coming. I haven't seen the sun in forever. One of my friends is in Las Vegas, Nevada. He's enjoying the sun and the heat and the palm trees. My other friend went on a vacation somewhere with warm blue water and palm trees and then my other friend went to Las Vegas to visit my other friend. I asked my friends in Nevada if they could send me a picture of the sun and the grand canyon. They did and so I have been enjoying looking at those pictures and imagining I was there with them. I have been missing the sun and heat so much :( I just want it back!!! Well any way, if you're in some where warm, please tell me about it in the comments below. I really want to see what other people are doing while I'm stuck in the stupid cold. If you're in the cold too, how much snow do you have? What are you average temperatures? Don't forget to tell me!

It seems like I haven't posted anything FOREVER!!!!! So here is an update on my life....

   In January, I had my birthday. I am now 13. Woo hoo!! lol. On January 17th, I had a skating party with a ton of my friends. We skated for about 2 hours then went to McDonald's and had supper. While at McDonald's, I opened presents from them. I got a huge stuffed dog named Dao, a pineapple, a pomegranate, two journals, a beautiful necklace and earrings, another beautiful set of jewelry that contained a necklace and a bracelet and earrings, hair bows, a gift card to Friendly's, and a ton more stuff that I can't think of.

   On February 7th, my family got another dog. I already have one dog named Beau (pronounced "Bow") and two cats named Shadow and Jade, and now I have Cooper! My other dog. He is half black lab and half golden retriever. He is brown with a white face and fluffy and fat. Very VERY fat lol. He is around 6 or 7 years old.

   I also had basketball every week during January and the beginning of January. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and sometimes Saturday, I would have practice from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm or I would have a basketball game. I really enjoyed it.

Then, on February 10th, me and my team had the play off game. We played another school (the school that lives up in the middle of no where, the three hour drive, remember?) and...if we beat them, we would play in the championship game.......and, so the score was..............
Us: 30
Them: 15

WE WON!!!! WE WERE GOING TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

   Then on February 11th, we had practice. The boys had already had there last game on February 6th so they didn't have practice, but a few of them came to help us girls out. We practiced against them and it was fun. We were ready for the game....

   On February 12th, we had the championship game. We used the best gym (the one three hours away) to have the game at. Me and my team played our best and had fun. It was quite stressful through the first half though but we came out of it. We were ahead, and then e were loosing. At the very end, one of our girls fouled out. This was her last game to play with our team.The next team she would have would be in college.

   At the end, we poured our guts out playing. We fought till the very end, but we lost. We were all happy though. Happy we had had such a great season together as a team. With 8 wins and 3 losses out of 12 games that season, we did well.

   I am proud to be apart of my team. I hope I can play for them again next year. I had a wonderful time and can't wait to see my team win the next championship game.

Basketball

Sooo! Monday, I had a game like 3 hours away (by "game", I mean basketball game). One of the boys on the boys basketball team took me up there with his mom. One of his friends, that hadn't even met the team yet, was going with us to play. So when we got there, the girls played first and we won! 25 to 23!!!! Then we watched the boys play and they lost. I don't remember their score though but it was bad. And the boy that I told you about earlier, the friend of my friend, he played REALLY good! After the game, he went up to the boy that had drove me and asked "Do think I am good enough to join the team?" My friend laughed and said of course he was. So then on Wednesday, I had another game. The court that we played at that day was terrible!!! There was like one foot of space from the wall and the court. All the way around. There were no bleachers, only chairs and it was cold. But anyway, the floor was a tile floor so they had to wax it so it was really slippery. During the girls game, one girl slipped and bruised up her leg pretty bad so she was out the rest of the game. And then during the boys game, I was in the bathroom waiting to change when all of a sudden I heard shouts full of agony.  I looked out at the court and one of the boys on our team was on the ground almost crying. The game hadn't even started yet. He ended up breaking his ankle in two places. He was out of the game. Then during the game, one of the other boys on our team did a split and tore one of the mussels in his thigh. He was on the ground shouting in agony. He was able to play the last quarter though. That was surprising. So there! That's what has happened to me lately! I have to go so good bye!

Catching Up

Hey! So wow! It's been forever since I've posted something! But a lot has been happening! So let's start at the beginning.....


12/7/14 Sunday
   Today, we are throwing my dad a surprise party! His birthday isn't till Tuesday though but we are doing the party today. So it took a lot of work keep it hidden from dad but we did it! He walked in on schedule and was surprised! He loved it! It was awesome! I got to hang out with my friends and dad got to hangout and chat with some of his old friends. It was great.

12/8/14 Monday
   Since I'm home schooled, I don't have a lot of friends. Lol Just kidding. I have tons of friends! Every Monday, we (as in my mom, brother, sister, and me) go to a home school group in Hollis. It's called LIGHTS. We get there at like 9:00 or so, have classes until 12:00,have lunch, and then the older kids (so like 7th through 12th grade) play volleyball in the auditorium. It's fun! But the last week of LIGHTS before winter break, they have a cookie party. You get to dress up all fancy (if you want) and we make cards for the older people and sing Christmas carols and then have lunch and dessert and the whole time you can be with your friends. So we went to that I got to hang out with a bunch of my friends. It was awesome! Then after the party, I had a basketball game. We left LIGHTS and went home so I could change and then we left for the game. At the game, A bunch of my friends from the party came to cheer me on. We lost though. 15 to 35. It was a sad game.

12/9/14 Tuesday
   Hey! I want to just give a shout out to the best dad in the world....my dad! He's turning 50 years old today! He makes 50 look young. He may be 50 but he is still a teenager on the inside. Happy Birthday Dad!

Free Time Fun (Or Should I Say "Lunch Time Fun")

This is what I do in my free time during lunch.......

I know what you're thinking "That's pathetic." and that's because it is. I get bored during lunch. What's the point of food if you don't get to play with it first?!?!

Kittens!!!

So, in September, I got two baby kittens!!! They are soooooo cute!!!! The black one is Shadow Panther and the tiger cat is Jade Tiger. They were only 5 weeks old when we got them! So now I think they are......ummm.......less then 2 moths old (I think)?. They are both brother and sister (the black one is the brother and the tiger one is the sister).

 I love them to death!

Movie Review

So I'm new to this whole blogging thing but here it goes...
   Hey! Ok, so you know how the first two Hunger Games movies are out and every one who's any one has seen them, but the third one is supposed to be coming out soon!!!!!! I can't wait!!!!! I loved the books!!!!! My favorite characters I have to say were Gail and......well Gail lol. I also can't wait for the new Divergent movie!!!!!! I thought Four was pretty awesome in the first one. Oh! Ok so, you know how when you watch one show, you get to know the characters and then all of a sudden, they all just die and thats the end? I HATE IT WHEN THEY DO THAT TO YOU! It's not fare! I watched a show recently where we went through 5 seasons together and i started to love every one, and then they all died. It's not rite. Any way. Write more later!
